Anderson Silva is the UFC Middleweight Champion which he held since 2006 to current 2010 and ranked #1 Middleweight of all time and maybe the best pound for pound fighter of all time.  And he will retire when his contract is up with the UFC.

Anderson Silva is a black belt Muay Tai and Jiu-Jitsu expert and also does Tae Kwon Do and Judo.  And fought professionally in boxing before becoming a Mixed Martial Artist and won against Julio Cesar De Jesus.

Anderson Silva enter the cage at the Ultimate Fighting Championship in late April 2006.  With the UFC giving him promotion right off the bat. And since then he has been undefeated and won against Chris Leben, Rich Franklin (twice), Travis Lutter, Nate Marquardt, Dan Henderson, James Irvin, Patrick Côté, Thales Leites and Forrest Griffin.
